16.	Larry Gene Darsey
( August 04, 1944 – June 29, 2010 )

      Perry – Larry Gene “Man” Darsey, 
age 65, died Tuesday at his residence. 
Funeral services will be held Saturday 
at 11:00 A.M. at Mathis Funeral Home. 
Burial will be in Bowers Cemetery in 
Empire.
     Mr. Darsey, born August 4, 1944 in 
Dodge County, was the son of the late 
Henry and Mollie Oxley Darsey and was 
preceded in death by his sister Peggy 
Waldrop.
     Leaving behind his long time 
companion Cheryl Bloodworth of Perry; 
brothers and sisters, Malan (Annie Mae) 
Darsey, Amos Darsey and Ann (John) 
Schwartz of Hawkinsville, Alice Johnson 
of Elko, Lee Wilson of Perry, Chris 
(Steve) Albritton of Bonaire and Maxine 
(Junior) Belflower of Cochran; three 
grandchildren.
     The family is at 117, Highway 41 
Circle, Perry and will greet friends 
from 7:00 until 9:00 P.M. Friday at 
Mathis Funeral Home in Cochran.
