                         Eunice Floyd Davis
 -AUGUSTA - Funeral services for Mrs. Eunice Floyd Davis, 82, of Augusta 
formerly of Cochran, who died on August 12, 2010 in Piedmont Fayette Hospital, 
will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, August 17th in the chapel of Fisher 
Funeral Home. Rev. Mike Andrews will officiate. Burial will follow in Pulaski-
Bleckley Memorial Gardens. -Mrs. Dais was born in Bleckley County, the 
daughter of the late Jeff and Effie Mae Howell Floyd and the widow of William 
B. Davis. She lived in August for the past 43 years. Mrs. Davis was a member 
of Salem Baptist Church in Cochran and was a homemaker. -Survivors include her 
daughter, Donna (Mike) Shelter of Peachtree City; son, Kenneth Lee Davis of 
St. Augustine, FL; granddaughters, Hailee Shelter and Michele Shelter of 
Peachtree City; brother, Mahlon Floyd of Cochran; sisters, Wylene Wyndel of 
Augusta, Merle (Owen) Kirkpatrick of Cochran, Jewell Baker and Avis Whited 
both of Cochran; Nellie McDaniel of Warner Robins. -The family may be 
contacted at the residence of Merle and Owen Kirkpatrick, Roddy Road in 
Cochran and will meet friends at the funeral home Monday night from 6:00 until 
8:00. -Fisher Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
