                          C. R. Evans

 COCHRAN--- C. R. Evans, 56, of Hickory Street, died Tuesday in a Cochran 
hospital after a brief illness. Services will be held at 3pm Thursday in 
Cochran Church of God. Burial will be in Walnut Cemetery in Unadilla.

 Mr. Evans, a lifelong resident of Cochran, was employed by the Conchemco 
Company of Warner Robins.

 Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Ethel Stiers Evans of Cochran; a step-son, 
William Stiers of Ft. Valley; two step-daughters, Mrs. J. W. Womack Jr. of 
Cordele and Mrs. Leon Wallace of Warner Robins; his mother, Mrs. Beulah Evans 
of Cochran; four brothers, Steve Evans, Lamar Evans, and David Evans, all of 
Cochran and J. R. Evans of Vienna; a sister, Mrs. Anna Liza Davis of Cochran.

 Fisher Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.



Additional Comments:
Charlie was born 11 May 1919 to Charlie Ross Evans Sr. and Beulah Howell Evans 
who are buried at Salem Baptist Church Cemetery in Cochran, Georgia. Georgia 
death certificate #026661.
