                       Mrs. Lowell Reeves Jones
 Mrs. Lowell Reeves Jones, 60, of Blairsville, Georgia, passed away Monday, 
July 4, 1988 in Union General Hospital. Mrs. Jones was born Sept. 13, 1917 in 
Bleckley County, Georgia, a daughter of James T. Reeves and Lillian Howell 
Reeves. Mrs. Jones had resided in this area for approximately two months, 
coming from Cochran-Hawkinsville, Georgia area. She was a member of Broad 
Street Baptist Church in Hawkinsville, Ga.
 Survivors include her husband, Mr. James Jones of Blairsville; two daughters, 
Brenda Jones Adams of Blairsville and Lynn Jones Hoffman of Wrens, Ga.; three 
sisters, Virginia McKinnon of Gainesville, Jimmie Howard of Columbus, and 
Patsy Diana of Dublin, Georgia; two brothers, Mr. Jerry Coleman of Warner 
Robins, Georgia and Mr. Howell Reeves of Cochran, Georgia; and thre 
grandchildren.
 Funeral services were held Wednesday, July 6, 1988 at 11am from Choestoe 
Baptist Church with Rev. Jim Geer officiating. Nephews served as 
casketbearers. Music was provided by Jo Mosley.
 Interment was in the church cemetery.
 Akins-Nix-Cochran Funeral Home, Kimsey Street, Blairsville in charge of 
arrangements.
