                            Lewis T. Kitchens

 Services for Lewis T. Kitchens will be at 11am Monday at Snow's Memorial 
Chapel, Cherry St. with burial in Middle Georgia Memory Gardens. Kitchens, 78, 
died Friday at his resdence. Born in Carey, he was the son of the late James 
Thomas and Lizzie S. Kitchens. He lived in Macon since 1941 moving from Twiggs 
County. He was an Army veteran and was a Baptist. He was a member of the 
Lizella Masonic Lodge No. 663 F&AM. He was retired from Armstrong World 
Industries. Survivors include his wife, Dessie M. Kitchens; stepchild, Johnny 
T. Gay of Yuma, Ariz.; half sister, Fronnie Mae Brock of Macon; 5 
grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

 The family will receive friends from 7 until 9 pm Sunday in the funeral home 
and may be contacted at 3734 Greenway Place, Macon 31201.

Lewis was born 11 Jan 1917. Georgia death certificate #032953.
