Lamb----A native of Cochran, Ga. and a resident of Mobile for years, died at a local hospital Saturday, Nov. 4, 1972 at 11:05am. He is a CWO retired US Coast Guard, a member of F&AM of St. Petersburg, Fla., the Alzafar Temple of the Shrine of San Antonio, Texas, the Singing River Trailer Club, and the Warrant Officer's Association of Washington, DC. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Melissa W. Lamb, Mobile; one son, Mr. John C. Lamb, Mobile; three sisters, Mrs. L. W. (Lucille) Arnold, Mt. Gilead, Ohio, Mrs. Henry (Mary) Faulk, Jeffersonville, Ga., and Mrs. Kitty Lee, Miami, Fla.; two grandsons, Carlton A. Lamb, Mobile and Raymond W. Lamb, Mobile; and nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Interment will be in Pine Crest Cemetery at 2pm Monday, Nov. 6, 1972. Visitation will be from 2 until 6pm Sunday, Nov. 5, 1972 at the funeral home. Funeral arrangements by Belmany Funeral Home, 100 South Beltline Hwy between Dauphin Street Ext. and Airport Blvd. on the west service road. J. M. Spikes and Mr. Thomas T. Jordan officiating. Pallbearers were Jack Parker, W. C. Smith, James Wright, Frank Bunkley Jr., Kenny Fann, and Julian Marx. Interment was in Pine Crest Cemetery with funeral arrangements by Belmany Funeral Home, 1200 South Belt Line Hwy, Mobile, Ala. Additional Comments: Albert was born 5 Feb 1904 to Carlton Ezekiel "Ed" Lamb and Mary Frances "Fannie" Meadows Lamb both of whom are buried at Mount Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery in Bleckley County, Georgia.
