Vida (maiden name Howell) Gulledge Linder was born 1-18-1904 and died 12-22-1979
(Ga. DC # 040790) and is buried at Trail Branch in Bleckley County.

 Mrs. Vida Howell Linder

Funeral services for Mrs. Vida Howell Linder of 3987 Guyton Street, Macon, who
died Saturday morning, December 22, 1979 in the Bleckley County Hospital
following a lengthy illness. were held Sunday, December 23 at 3:00 o'clock in
the chapel of Mathis Funeral Home with Elder Franklin Bryant and Rev. Hubert
Addleton officiating. Burial was in the Trail Branch Primitive Baptist Church
Cemetery.
Mrs. Linder was born in Bleckley County, the daughter of the late William T. and
Callie Davidson Howell. She was the widow of the late Otha Gulledge and the late
G. M. Linder. She had lived in Macon for the past 32 years. Mrs. Linder was a
housewife and attended the Primitive Baptist Church.
Survivors are one stepson, Burke Linder of Atlanta; one stepdaughter, Mrs.
Johnny Rogers of Warner Robins; three sisters, Mrs. Effie Floyd, Mrs. Pearl
Sheppard, and Mrs. Odie Roland, all of Cochran; three brothers, Willie Howell,
Kimberly Howell and Ollie Howell, all of Cochran; six stepgrandchildren and a
number of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Howell Reeves, Maylon Floyd, Wendell Sheppard, Terrell Floyd,
Gene Howell and Melvin Sheppard.
Mathis Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
