     Cochran – Thursday 
James Wallace Lucas,59, 
was discovered at his home 
passed away. Funeral 
services are scheduled for 
2:00 P.M. Sunday at Mathis 
Funeral Home in Cochran, 
Ga. and immediately 
following will be the 
burial at Bowers Cemetery
   The family is at 221 
Roy Bryant Road.
 Mr. Lucas had lived his 
life in Cochran and was 
the son of the late 
Herbert and Christine 
Allen Lucas.

   He leaves behind  his 
son, Wally Lucas of 
Currituck, NC and daughter 
Joy Lucas of Cochran; 
grandchildren, James Lucas 
of Washington, DC, Peri 
Phagan, Dailyn Phagan and 
Journi Lucas of Cochran; 2 
sisters Annette Williams, 
Gloria Smith,3 brothers, 
Bill  and Wendell Lucas of 
Cochran, and Glenn Lucas( 
Gwen Cobb) of Eastman
  He was a retired 
supervisor and mechanic 
from Jac-Arts Label 
Factory.
     .
The family has agreed to 
meet & greet friends from 
6:00 until 8:00 P.M. 
Saturday at Mathis Funeral
