                         Mrs. Susie Coley Padgett

 Funeral services for Mrs. Susie Coley Padgett, 63 of Cochran, who died 
Thursday, January 1, 1981, following a brief illness, were held Saturday at 2pm 
in the First Baptist Church with the Rev. Joe K. Tanner and the Dr. Rudolph 
Grantham officiating. Burial was in the Cedar Hill Cemetery.

 Mrs. Padgett was born in Bleckley County, the daughter of the late DeWitt T. 
Coley. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and was retired from L and 
H Shirt Company.

 Survivors include her husband, Hudson Padgett Sr. of Cochran; five sons, 
Outler Padgett, Hudson Padgett Jr., Wallace Padgett, Bill Padgett, and Jimmy 
Padgett, all of Cochran; three daughters, Mrs. Nadine Holland of Cochran, Mrs. 
Peggy Baugher of Snellville, and Mrs. Paulette Watson of Valdosta; her mother, 
Mrs. Eula Coley of Cochran; five brothers, J. D. Coley of Cochran, Paul Coley 
of Jacksonville, Fla., Thomas Coley of Fayetteville, Roy W. Coley of 
Milledgeville, and DeWitt Coley of Eastman; twenty grandchildren; and two great-
grandchildren.

 Active pallbearers were Keith Holland, Ken Holland, Derek Padgett, Wally 
Padgett, Mike Padgett, and Tommy Padgett.

 Fisher Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
