                   Mrs. Powell, 68, Dies at Her Home

                     Mrs. Annie Hinson Powell

 Funeral services for Mrs. Annie Hinson Powell, 68, who died Friday afternoon 
at her home near Chester following a short illness, were held Saturday 
afternoon at the Salem Baptist Church. The Rev. J. D. Payne and the Rev. C. 
Paul Gresham officiated. Burial was in the Salem Cemetery.

 Mrs. Powell was born in Bleckley County, the daughter of the late W. H. and 
Georgia Ann Howell Hinson and has lived all of her life in this section. She is 
survived by two brothers, Amon and Hubert Hinson, both of Chester Rt. 1; one 
sister, Mrs. Eppie H. Bryan of Chester.

 The pallbearers were Delacey Jones, LeRoy McClelland, Cicero Powell, Ebb 
Hinson, Milton Mullis, and J. R. Fordham.

 Fisher Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Additional Comments:
Annie was born abt Dec 1885. Her husband was Daniel Powell. Georgia death 
certificate #22030.
