(maiden name Howell) Coleman Reeves was born 5-10-1889 and died 2-29-1976 (GA DC# 007217) and is buried at Trail Branch Cemetery in Bleckley County. Both of her parents, William Thomas Howell and Callie Virginia Davidson Howell, as well as her first husband, George B. Coleman, are also buried there. From The Cochran Journal 3-3-1976 Page 20 Mrs Lillian H. Coleman Reeves Funeral services for Mrs. Lillian H. Coleman Reeves, 86, of 302 Beech Street, who died Sunday afternoon in the Bleckley County Memorial Hospital following a long illness were held at 11:00 o'clock Tuesday in the Chapel of Mathis Funeral Home with Elder Rupert Nobles officiating. Burial was in the Trail Branch Cemetery. Mrs. Reeves was a life long resident of Cochran. She was a member of Oak Grove Primitive Baptist Church. Survivors are three sons, Nanthaniel Coleman of Warner Robins, Howell Reeves of Cochran, and Hugh Hill of Washington, DC; four daughters, Mrs. Barney McKinnon of Gainesville, Mrs. Joe Howard of Columbus, Mrs. Frank Diana of Dublin, and Mrs. Willard Jones of Hawkinsville; one step-son, E. B. Reeves of Empire; one step-daughter, Mrs. Mattie Hancock of Warner Robins; three brothers, Willie Howell, Kimberly Howell, and Ollie Howell, all of Cochran; four sisters, Mrs. Effie Floyd, Mrs. Pearl Shepard, and Mrs. Blanton Roland, all of Cochran and Mrs. Vida Linder of Macon; fifteen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were David McKinnon, Larry Reeves, Bernard Carlisle Jr., Philip Carlisle, Franklin Diana, and Ross Adams. Mathis Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
