(Jim) Carroll williamcarrollj@bellsouth.net April 11, 2014, 8:12 pm The Cochran Journal 9-16-1971 P12 Junior Rozier Funeral services for Junior Rozier, 34 of Route 4 Cochran in Twiggs County, who died unexpectedly from an apparent heart attack while in Ft. Pierce, Fla., were held Monday afternoon in Antioch Methodist Church. The services were conducted by Rev. Robert Varnodoe and Rev. Pete Davis. Burial was in the family lot in the Antioch Cemetery. Mr. Rozier was a lifelong resident of Twiggs county and was employed as a heavy equipment operator. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Martha Mullis Rozier of Ft. Pierce; two sons, Jackie Rozier and Billy Joe Rozier, both of Route 4 Cochran; two daughters, Miss Janie Rozier and Miss Glenda Jean Rozier, both of Route 4 Cochran; father, Clinton Rozier of Cochran; one brother, W. C. Rozier of Cochran; three sisters, Mrs. Pete Brigman and Mrs. Darrell Stone, both of Warner Robins, and Miss Linda Rozier, Route 4 Cochran; grandmother, Mrs. Lonia Rozier of Route 1 Danville; and grandfather, Frank Brewer of Jeffersonville. The active pallbearers were Charles W. Carter, Danny M. Johnson, Junior Sanders, Everett Sanders, Ernest Rozier, and Ralph Raley. Honorary pallbearers were Ira Tompkins, Lavater Rozier, John S. Moore, Pat Moore, Russell Hill, and John dent. Fisher Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Additional Comments: Junior was born 20 Jul 1937.
