John Gordon "Shot" Sapp was born 6-13-1912 and died 9-20-1981.

Mr. Sapp
Cochran -- John G. "Shot" Sapp, 69, died Sunday in a Macon hospital. Services
will be held at 3 pm today in Mount Calvary Baptist Church in Bleckley County. 
Burial will be in the Pulaski-Bleckley Memorial Gardens. The Rev. Gerald Fordham
and the Rev. Buford Raffield will officiate.

Mr. Sapp, a native of Bleckley County, was a retired from J.M. Huber Corp and
attended Lakeview Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Gladys Davis Sapp of Cochran; two sons, Wallace
G. Sapp of Nashville, Ga, and Lance Sapp of Williston, N.D; two daughters, Mrs.
Joe Ben Jackson and Mrs. John C. Chance, both of Cochran; a brother, Mitch Sapp
of Macon; nine grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

The body will be in the church at 2pm today.

The family will be at the Sapp residence on Vernon Road.
Fisher Funeral Home of Cochran has charge of arrangements.
