Skipper, 60, of 406 Ash St., Cochran, who died Monday in the Taylor Memorial Hospital, were held Wednesday at Oak Grove Primitive Baptist Church. The services were conducted by Elder Robert Sanders, Elder Freeman Keel, and Elder A. M. Bates. Burial was in the Oak Grove Cemetery. Mr. Skipper was born in Bleckley County the son of the late Daniel W. and Winnie Dillard Skipper and has lived here all of his life where he was engaged in farming until his retirement several years ago. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lola Thompson Skipper of Cochran; four sons, Robert, Daniel, Ruben, and T. J. Skipper, all of Cochran; two daughters, Mrs. Horace Sanders and Mrs. Hollis Manning of Cochran; seven grandchildren; two brothers, S. D. Skipper of Plant City, Fla. and Herbert Skipper of Cochran; two sisters, Mrs. W. A. Mullis and Mrs. N. J. Warren of Cochran. The pallbearers were Jack Warren, D. W. Skipper, Dan Mullis, Joseph Coley, Russell Morgan, and Oswald Knighton. Fisher Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements. Additional Comments: Tullie was born 3 Jan 1902.
