                           Mrs. Nettie Skipper

 Funeral services for Mrs. Nettie Skipper, age 68 of Route 3 Cochran who died 
Thursday morning, March 31, 1983, in Taylor Regional Hospital in Hawkinsville, 
were held Friday April 1 at three o'clock in the Oak Grove Primitive Baptist 
Church with Elder Daniel Bryant and Elder Rupert Nobles officiating. Burial was 
in the church cemetery.

 Mrs. Skipper, a lifelong resident of Bleckley County, was the widow of the 
late Herbert Skipper. She was a retired employee of the L & H Shirt Company and 
a member of the Oak Grove Primitive Baptist Church.

 Survivors are one daughter, Mrs. Estelle Hinson of Cochran; three sons, D. W. 
Skipper, Eugene Skipper, and Holland Skipper, all of Cochran; nine 
grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

 Pallbearers were Ronnie Mullis, Stevie Mullis, Jimmy Skipper, Bill 
Bessenbacher, Billy Darsey, and Calvin Grenade.

 Mathis Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Nettie was born 21 Jan 1915 to William Alps Mullis Sr. and Annie Malissa McNeal 
Mullis. Georgia death certificate #011667.
