4.	Rosemary Asbell Smith
     May 29, 1952 – May 14, 2010

     Cochran – Mrs. Rosemary Asbell 
Smith, died Friday in the Bleckley 
Memorial Hospital at age 57. Cochran 
First United Methodist Church will 
handle the funeral service which will be 
Monday at 1:00 P.M. Burial will be in 
Cedar Hill Cemetery.
     Mrs. Smith was a life long resident 
of Bleckley County. She was the daughter 
of the late Robert “Bob” and Joanne 
Lollis Asbell and the granddaughter of 
the late Robert and Evelyn Norris 
Asbell. Mrs Smith was a life long 
resident of Bleckley County. 
     Survivors are her husband, Kenneth 
Smith of Cochran; and one son, Charlie 
Smith of Melbourne, FL; three sisters, 
Frances Cook, Evelyn Durham and Ann 
Pettis of Cochran.
     The family plans on greeting 
friends from 7 until 9 P.M. Sunday at 
Mathis Funeral Home
