   A female named Mary Merrell Stapleton, died in 
Fairview Park Hospital in 
Dublin at age 56. 
Her funeral services  will 
be Monday at 11:00 A.M. in 
Limestone Baptist Church. 
Burial will be in 
Limestone Memorial 
Gardens.
   The family can be 
contacted at this address
241 Highway 257 Cochran, 
Georgia.
   The Stapleton's family 
will meet with friends at 
Mathis Funeral Home from 
7:00-9:00 P.M.Sunday
    Mrs. Stapleton, born 
in Atlanta,lived in 
Cochran. She was the 
daughter of the late 
William B. “Buck” and 
Elizabeth “Liz” Garner 
Merrell Jr. 
    She was preceded in 
death by her brother 
William B. “Benny” Merrell 
III. 
    She was employee of 
Georgia Dept. of 
Correction and a1972 
graduate of Cochran High 
School. She was a member 
of Limestone Baptist 
Church.
    She leaves behind  are 
her husband, Ricky 
Stapleton of Cochran; her 
daughters, Amy Bracewell 
of Dexter and Beth NeSmith 
of Dublin; step-daughter, 
Adrianne Cantrell of 
Warner Robins; 
grandchildren, Madison and 
Bo Bracewell of Dexter; 
step-grandchildren, 
Alyssa, Tamra and Tristyn 
Cantrell of Warner Robins.
