Warren, 60, of Route 3 Cochran, who died Monday morning in the Providence Nursing Home following a long illness were held Tuesday afternoon at the Union Hill Baptist Church. The services were conducted by Rev. James Burleson, Rev. Hinson Purser, and Rev. Ronald Presley. Burial was in the family lot in the Union Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Warren was born in Bleckley County, the daughter of Daniel and Winnie Skipper and has lived here all of her life. She was the widow of the late Nathan J. Warren and was a member of the Union Hill Baptist Church. She is survived by one son, Rev. Jack Warren; three daughters, Mrs. Frank Todd, Mrs. Ira Bryan Jr., and Mrs. Obie Bass, all of Cochran; 9 grandchildren; two brothers, Herbert Skipper of Cochran and S. D. Skipper of Florida; and one sister, Mrs. W. A. Mullis of Cochran. The pallbearers were: Abie Gene Giddens, Jack Purser, Gene Long, Jack Davidson, C. C. Dykes, Alvin Purser, Jack Dykes, and W. T. Giddens. Fisher Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Additional Comments: Lutila was born 15 Oct 1908 to Daniel W. "Dan" Skipper and Winnie I. Dillard Skipper.
