Watson, 82, who died early Monday morning in a Dublin hospital following an illness of a few days, were held Wednesday morning at the Bay Springs Primitive Baptist Church in Montrose. Elder Ben Lord and Elder E. D. Bryant officiated. Burial was in the Cary Cemetery. Mr. Watson was born in Oconee County and had made his home in Montrose for the past 30 years where he engaged in farming. He was a member of the Bay Springs Church. He is survived by four sons, Hester Watson of Dudley, Hiram Watson of Macon, Halley Watson of Montrose, and Hershell Watson of Monticello. One brother, W. J. Watson of Covington and two sisters, Mrs. Emily Daniels of Greensboro and Mrs. Lizzie Parker of Winder. Fisher Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Additional Comments: Albin was born 15 May 1869 to J. Harrison Watson and Elizabeth M. Brooks Watson. His wife, Susan Josephine Kennedy Watson is also buried in the Cary Cemetery, also known as Mount Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery.
