James Levi DuBose died yesterday afternoon at his residence in Hoboken 
following an extended illness.
Survivors are his widow, the fomer Miss Susie Mae Carew of Brantley County; 
four daughters, Miss Georgia DuBose, Mrs. Inez Pearson, Mrs. Lena Rowell and 
Mrs. Jeanetta Griffin, Waycross; four sons, Olin DuBose, Hoboken,Chester 
DuBose, Lawson DuBose, Nahunta and Omer DuBose, Ridgeland, SC; four sisters, 
Mrs. Ola Lightsey, Valdosta, Mrs. Annie Crosby, Lakeland, Mrs. Lemmer Dowling, 
Kingsland and Mrs. Elizabeth Robson, Miami, Fla.; one brother, Jasper DuBose, 
Waycross; 21 grandchildren, one great granddaughter and onr great grandson, 
and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services wil be held tomorrow at 3PM 
at the Hoboken Baptist Church. Burial will be in the Hoboken Cemetery.
The body will be carried to the church at 5PM today and will lie in state 
luntil the hour of the funeral.
Members of the Brotherhood Bible Sunday School Class will serve as honorary 
pallbearers.
