Edens officiating. Burial followed in the Little Memorial Cemetery in Brantley County. Mr. Lane, 65, died Sunday at his home in Woodbine. Pallbearers were Michael Nettles, Chuck Nettles, Greg Dasher, Allen Dasher, Larry Dasher, Frankie Lane, Thomas Strickland, Jaime Kelsey and Josh Stacks. Surviving are his wife, Jo Lane of Woodbine; six daughters, Esther Dowling of Waycross, Kaye Nease of Marlow, Ingrid Sullivan of Folkston, Rebecca Goines of Register, Julie Stacks of Kingsland and Jennifer Mishoe of Woodbine; four sisters, Deanne Santoro of Stamford, Conn., Gladys Jacobs of Nahunta, Bessie Adams of Townsend and Dot Standard of Springfield; three brothers, Gary Rooks and Henry Lane, both of Sterling, and Arnold Lane of Brunswick; 23 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Mr. Lane was a native of Wayne County and had been a resident of Camden County for 21 years.
