Laurie Crews Wham, 32, of Rockledge, Fla., died
Wednesday, March 13, 2002.

She was a graduate of Camden County High School and
Savannah College of Art and Design. Laurie was employed
as a graphic designer with Florida Today of Melborne,
Fla.

Laurie is survived by her husband, James G. (Jim) Wham
of Rockledge; her parents Bobby and Alice Sue
DePratter-Crews of Woodbine; father-in-law and mother-
in-law, Jim and Carol Wham of Merritt Island, Fla.;
brother-in-law and sister -in-law, Dan and Amy Wham;
nephew, Drake Wham; niece, Caitlyn Wham; her dogs, B.J.
and Hope; a special cousin, Elizabeth (Libby)
DePratter-Cobb and her childhood friend, Melissa Dean.
Several aunts, uncles and cousins also survive her.

The family will receive friends Friday, March 15, 2002,
at Edo Miller-Dekle-Wainwright Funeral Home in
Kingsland from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral services for Laurie
will be Saturday, March 16, 2002, at the First Baptist
Church of Woodbine at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Tim Rice and
Dr. Clay Turner officiating. Interment will follow in
the New Hope Cemetery in Hickox, Georgia.
