Martha Jane was born Feb 3, 1888 to Samuel David ad Martha Mozell Knight 
Crews.  She married William Presely Rowell and they had six children. She died 
on Jan 2, 1978 in Hortense, Georgia.  She was a member of the Satilla Baptist 
Church and is buried at Satilla cemetery.  She always had plenty to eat at her 
house, no one went hungry.
