Funeral Slated for Confederate Veteran's Widow

Quitman, Ga., March 12 --
Funeral for the last widow of Confederate veteran in Brooks
County, Mrs. Mary Carroll, will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at
the Maxwell Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Elam Cemetery.
The former Mary Elizabeth Renfroe married Timothy
Carroll, 35 years her senior. Mr. Carroll died in 1925.
Mrs Carroll, 92, died Friday in Quitman. She had
lived in Brooks County all of her life.

She passed away in 1966. 
My genealogy shows March 11, 1966. 
She was born 11-18-1873.
