Capt A J LEA died at his home in Madison County Florida on Monday night last and
was buried with Masonic honors in Quitman on Wednesday at 11 o’clock a.m.
Captain LEA was 71 years of age and was one of the oldest settlers in this
section.  He was a successful man and was highly respected for his strict
integrity of character by all who knew him. Captain LEA’s sickness was of short
duration and his death was unexpected.
