Funeral Card

Hortense Godwin Scruggs

    Services for Hortense Godwin SCRUGGS, 86, of Morven, Georgia, were at 2:00 
p. m., Friday March 7, 2003 at Morven Baptist Church with the Rev. Shane Ashley 
officiating. Interment was in Campground Cemetery. Mrs Scruggs died March 5, 
2003 at South Georgia Medical Center.  Born in Brooks County Georgia, she was 
the daughter of Clarence GODWIN and Mary BASS.  She was a homemaker and member 
of Morven Baptist Church.  Mrs. Godwin is survived by two daughters, Janice and 
Linda; nine grandchildren, Missy, Penny, Tripp, Cindy, Stephanie, Ron, Kevin, 
Chad and Carla; seventeen great grandchildren: and a sister, Elizabeth.
