Carrie Louise Lovett was born in Worth County, GA 2 Jan 1905 and died in Greensboro, NC 30 Apr 1997. Her father was Charlton Fletcher Lovett (b 7 Mar 1859 in Wilcox County, GA; d 8 Feb 1937 Haines City, FL) and mother was Sarah Carrie Denby (b 10 Sep 1871 Dougherty County, GA; d 28 Aug 1956 Haines City, FL) Charlton Fletcher Lovett and Sarah Carrie Denby were married in Worth County, GA 1 December 1889. Joseph Grier Nesbit was born in Iredell County, NC 18 Nov 1897 and died in Greensboro, NC 27 Jun 1992. Carrie and Joseph had 8 children. They moved from Brooks County, Georgia to Florida and then to North Carolina where they ultimately settled in Pleasant Garden (south of Greensboro), Guilford County, and lived there from the 1940's until the 1990's. Joseph Grier Nesbit was a plasterer and farmer. He dropped the last "t" from his last name after moving to NC.
