Right on FS- 42 to FS-42A. Right on FS-42A to FS-45. Right on FS-45 to FS-T45. Right on FS-T45 to cemetery on left. Survey made 4/22/91 by Wyman May, H.L. Neal, Jr. and Charles Zoucks. The history of Letford Methodist Church is unknown to the compiler of these records. In the year 1880 it was in the Bryan County Circuit, Eastman District of the Methodist Church. Prior to 1910, Mr. W.G. Tuten installed a sawmill at Letford. He built a railroad from there to a place called Norden, just east of Pembroke. He used the railroad to haul logs and lumber to Norden where his railroad connected with another railroad.
