Moore WHITEHALL CEMETERY aka MILLWOOD CEMETERY. Located in Richmond Hill, Georgia, Bryan county, approximately 5 miles east of Richmond Hill, take Hwy 144 east, turn left on Fort McAllister Road. Turn left onto Whitehall Lane, this is private property, but continue down the road, make the loop around at the end, and the cemetery is behind the house at 331 Whitehall Lane. Who was born on the 5th October, 1805 at Savannah, Geo. And died a victim to his unwearied exertions in the cause of his profession on the 22 September, 1835, at Hardwick, Bryan co. Geo., aged 29 years, 11 months, and 17 days. Reader, if you knewest him not he was a brave and noble, a generous, a moral, a talented and an honest man. He left a widow and two infant children, a brother and a father to mourn his loss. The latter drooped and died beneath the blow that had stricken from him the prop and stay of his declining years, and those who remain have ordered this tablet have marked the spot where their joy, their hope, their hearts lie buried. Green be the turf above thee, Pride of our better days. None knew thee but to love thee or named thee but to praise. Erected to the memory of our beloved daughter, EMILY.
