Regiment Ga. Inf. August 9, 1861. Detached as Acting Hospital
Steward September 1861. Discharged on account of hernia January 
5, 1862. Enlisted as a private in Co. E, 47th Regiment Ga. Inf.
September 3, 1862. Appears on receipt ron given at Savannah,
Ga. December 8,1863, for expenses for board and lodging for November 
1862, while detailed with the Engineer Department. No later
record.

Derrence, William- private September 13, 1862. Roll for October 31,
1862, last on file, shows him present. No later record.

Harvey, Oliver James- private September 7, 1862. Roll for October 
31, 1862, last on file, shows him present. No later record.

Hay, James P.- private April 1864. Surrendered, Greensboro,
N. C. April 26,1865.

Hearn, James (or Harn)- private May 15, 1862. Died of disease 
June 10, or July 10, 1862.

Helmsley, Joshua- private September 12, 1862. Roll for October 31,
1862, last on file, shows him absent with leave. No later
record.

Hodges, William J. G.- private September 9, 1862. Roll for October 
31,1862, last on file, shows him "absent under orders." Pension 
records show he was wounded at Chickamauga, Ga. September 
19, 1863, and was in Augusta, Ga. hospital close of war.

Honiday, H.- private November 12, 1862. Discharged, disability,
December 26, 1862.

Horning, Josiah E.- private August 4, 1862. Regimental returns 
for November 1862, show him absent without leave. No later
record.

Johnson, John- private June 11, 1862. Substitute for T. W.
Bingham. Roll for October 31, 1862, last on file, shows him under 
arrest at Savannah, Ga. No later record.

Marsh, J. Calvin- private October 9, 1862. Roll for October 31,
1862, last on file, shows him present. No later record.

McCorkle, C. T.- private. Discharged on account of chronic
asthma, at Gainesville, Ala. August 3, 1863.

McCorkle, Robert R.- private October 24,1862. Roll for October 31,
1862, last on file, shows him present. No later record.

Raye, Thomas- private September 10, 1862. Deserted same day.

Swilly, S. A. (or Snelling)- private August 16, 1862.
