Pembroke-Ollie Lanier Crawford, age 91, passed away on Thanksgiving morning. 
She was the daughter of F.J. and Agnes Southwell Lanier and granddaughter of 
L.M. and Sallie Lanier and Joshua and Jane Southwell. Mrs. Crawford was a 
former resident of Charleston, S.C. and worked for the Charleston County 
Treasure's offices. She later worked at Pembroke State Bank and retired with 
over 20 years of service. Mrs. Crawford was a long-time member of Pembroke 
United Methodist Church and was a loving, thoughtful and caring Aunt. She 
enjoyed gardening, cross stitching, and cooking, especially sweets for her 
family. Mrs. Crawford was predeceased by a son, Kenneth Marion Crawford; two 
sisters, Mamie Blanche Lanier and Virgie Lanier Deal; and one brother, Lee 
Marvin Lanier. Survivors include one brother, J. Donald Lanier of Charleston, 
S.C.; five nieces and nephews, Patty Deal Evans of Como, N.C., Janice Deal 
Hendrix of Ringgold, GA, Wayne Lanier of Greer, S.C. , Lee Lanier of 
Hartsville, S.C., and Nina Lee Steckel of Jacksonville, FL, and one 
granddaughter Agnes Crawford of Slocomb, AL. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. 
Saturday evening at the funeral home. Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. 
Sunday at Morrison Memorial Chapel with Elder Spencer Moore and Rev. Mark 
Zeitlin officiating. Burial will be in Northside Cemetery. Morrison Funeral
