News Gleaned From Georgia

Judge John H. Hyman, 71 years old, a native of Bryan County, was found dead on
his farm near Meldrin following a heavy rain.  He was lying face down on the
ground and had been dead several hours.  While no burns were found on the body,
it is thought he may have been struck by lightning.  He is survived by his widow
and five daughters.
