Blitch of Bulloch County of the 1st part and Elias A. Neil of Chatham County, Georgia of the 2nd part. Witnesseth that whereas said part of the 1st part is justly Indebted unto John Flannery & Co. of Savannah, Georgia in the sum of $10600 dollars as evidenced by his 6 certain promissory notes [amount & dates recorded here] And the said notes being endorsed by said Elias A. Neil and whereas said part of the 1st part is indebted unto said Elias A. Neil in the sum of $4493.25 dollars is evidenced by his 6 promissory notes [amount and dated recorded]. At the option of said John Flannery & Co. and E.E. Neil assigns and in order to also secure the due & faithful fulfillment performances of all the obligations and easements so hereafter set out has granted and convey unto said party of the 2nd part the following described property. All that tract known as the Lucy Farrot tract in the 46th District GM containing 204 acres adjoining lands of James Donaldson on the North and East and James F. Brown on the South and West, being the same property conveyed to the said Blitch, the bridge across the Great Ogeechee River near Ogeechee on the Central Railroad of Georgia and lying partly in Bulloch County and partly in Screven County, chartered and licensed by both counties and known as Blitches Tool Bridge. Also all that tract of land bounded by the Ogeechee River and lands of W.W. Colemnan and Wm. P. Donaldson and the road known as the Savannah or Sandersville Road and called the Coleman land containing 200 acres. Also that lot of land on both sides of the public road called the Statesboro and No. 6 Road and bounded by Wm. P. Donaldson containing 6 acres and and toll bridge being a portion of property conveyed on Sept. 8, 1889 by Laura M. Blitch, Horace S. Blitch, Ruth J. Blitch and James Y. Blitch, Widow and children of John G. Blitch, late of Bulloch County (dec.) and devices of said John G. Blitch to said W.H. Blitch by deed recorded in Book “O” folios 283-286 of the Bulloch County Records. Also that tract containing 4 acres in the town of Blitch in the 46th District GM having been convey ed by Wm. P. Donaldson to Horace S. Blitch, Sept. 7, 1835, more fully appear by reference to deed and plat, being bounded on the West by a public road from Statesboro to Blitches Bridge near Ogeechee Station and north by land known as the John G. Blitch Store lot and Wm.P. Donaldson on the East and South by lands of Wm. P. Donaldson, being the same property conveyed to W. H. Blitch by Horace S. Blitch on January 2, 1888 of deed recorded in Book “L” folios 444-445 excepting 2 acres off the Eastern side containing 5 acres from the Northwest corner of lands of Wm. P. Donaldson and bounded on the North by lands of Wm. P. Donaldson and bounded on the North by lands of the Estate of John G. Blitch, East & South by Wm.P. Donaldson and West by W.H. Blitch being conveyed on April 14, 1879 by Wm. P. Donaldson to Blitch by deed recorded in Book “M” folio203. Also that tract in the 46th District GM bounded Southwest by Wm. P. Donaldson and W.H. Blitch Store tract and North and Northeast by Great Ogeechee River and Nevills Creek, being part of several surveys originally granted to Andrew Elton, James Hime and others containing 480 acres by deed from Matthew Donaldson to said Blitch dated February 14, 1879, recorded in Book “M” pages 205-206 excepting 5 acres cut off from the Northeast corner and therefore conveyed by said Blitch to Wm. P. Donaldson and I acres cut off the North side an Nevills Creek and sold for a Negro Church. Also that parcel in the 46th District GM containing 75 acres bounded as follows, North & East by said W.H. Blitch, South by James Donaldson and West by J.T. Brown, as appear on a plat made by R.A. Cone, Sr. on December 24, 1892. Being the same property as conveyed on December 6, 1892 by James Donaldson to Blitch by deed recorded in Book “W” pages 330-331. ALso all that tract lying in the 46th District GM thereof, containing 527 acres bounded Northwest by Nevills Creek and Mrs. L.M. Blitch, Northwest by daid W.H. Blitch, Southeast by James Donaldson and Southwest by __________, attached to the deeds made by James T. Brown to said Blitch on October 25, 1889 recorded in Book “O” folios 270-271. Also all that tract of land being in the town of Statesboro fronting 40 feet onNorth Main Street and running back 300 feet to Walnut Street and bounded North lot of Irene J. Leitner, East by North Main Street, South by lot of R.T. Oatland and West by Walnut Street, the same property conveyed December 11, 1892 by said Irene J. Leitner to H.S. Blitch and W.H. 2. Blitch by deed recorded in Book “U” folio 86, H.S. Blitch transferred his right unto said W.H. Blitch. Also all that parcel of land in the 1209th District GM near to and West of Statesboro and North of the public road known as the Swainsboro Mail Road, bounded North by S.T. Olliff, East by J.B. Cone, D.R. Groover, and J.A. Brannen , South by W.H. Blitch and West by William M. Proctor, Elizabeth Proctor and her children containing 60 acres, the same property conveyed on December 11, 1892 by Elizabeth Proctor et al to W.H. Blitch and H.S. Blitch and transferred all interest to said W.H. Blitch. Also all that tract known as Lot # 1 of the subdivision made by George W. Clifton, surveyor, on April 1, 1886, all that tract containing 1136 acres bounded North by James Young, East by Oliver Finch, South by Joseph Burke and West by Mrs._____ ______, described in said plat made by W.H. Blitch, Admr. Of B.L. Newton to Thomas H. Potter dated June 2, 1886, the same date quit claimed unto said Blitch all his right being recorded in Book “M” folios 211-214 with exception from Lot # 1 containing 51 acres sold by said Blitch, tract at present time, 538 1/8th acres. Also all that tract known as the Ben C. Lee place lying in the 47th District GM originally containing resurvey plat of Adam Jones, County Surveyor dated February 3, 1875, 859 acres and resurvey plat of George W. Clifton, surveyor, dated September 30, 1886, 710 acres being bounded North by Newton Woodcock and Mill Creek, East by Samuel L. Moore, South by A.W. Belcher and West by William Lee, John B. Lanier and James F. Lanier which there had been sold off provisions December 29, 1888, 164 acres so that the number of acres hereby conveyed are 695 acres by the Jones plat and 546 acres being the same property as conveyed to said Blitch upon December 29, 1888 by Mrs. Rebecca A. Johnson by deed recorded in Book “M” folios 218-219.Also all those 3 certain tracts, 1 containing 250 acres granted Jesse Newman on the 11th of December, 18465, 1 containing 270 acres granted to Thomas Strickland on the 11th of December 1845 and 1 containing 270 acres granted William G. Rowland on January 12, 1852, said 3 tracts bounded East by James Speir, South by W.H. Blitch and West by Emmitt Dions, said lands lying in the 19th District GM of Bryan County, being the same property conveyed to W.H. Blitch by deed recorded in Bryan County Records in Book “M” folios 387-390. Also all those parcels lying in Bryan County containing 600 acres, the 1st tract containing 200 acres and granted to Martin Shuman and surveyed 22nd day of August 1843, the 2nd tract granted Martin Shuman containing 200 acres, surveyed 6th of November 1850, the 3rd tract granted to William Shuman containing 130 acres and surveyed on 10th of May 1858 and the 4th tract containing 80 acres all of said tracts joining and together bounded on the North by James Speir, East by Elijah Shuman, West by W.S. Blitch and W.J. Pate, the same property conveyed to Blitch and Miller by William Spier on December 14, 1876 by deed recorded in Book “M” folios 101- 102. L.P. Miller member of the firm of Blitch & Miller, on January 23, 1879, being recorded with the original deed. Also 8 acres in Statesboro with the improvement consisting of 8 small tenement houses thereon, bounded North by Poplar Street, East by Pine Street, South by Cora B. Williams and West by J.F. Field.. Said party of the 2nd part will release from the operation of this deed to secure debt, the following property and the tracts of alnd known as the home place of said Blitch and the place known as the Brown place, to wit, the toll Bridge across the Great Ogeechee River, that tract known as the Coleman land, containing 200 acres, the 6 acres on the Statesboro and No. 6 Road bounded by William P. Donaldson and said Blitch, the 4 acre tract as conveyed to said Blitch by H.S. Blitch on January 2, 1888, less the acres heretofore sold, the 5 acre react conveyed by William P. Donaldson to said Blitch on April 14, 1879, the 480 acre tract conveyed to said Blitch by Martin Donaldson. Conveyed the 75 acre tract conveyed by James Donaldson to said Blitch December 6, 1872 and 527 acre tract conveyed to said Blitch by Dr. James F. Brown on October 23, 1889. Witnesses: W.H. Blitch W.
