1813, December 8--- Know ye that I, the said Jabez Bowen of Providence, County 
of Providence, State of Rhode Island have given, sold and conveyed unto Thomas 
Rawls of Bulloch County for and in consideration of the sum of $200 dollars a 
certain parcel of land lying in the (now) County of Bulloch containing 200 
acres which I hold by deed from the late Oliver Bowen, Esquire dated the 12th 
day of December AD 1794.  Recorded in the County of Chatham, Book ____ folio 
428. Said land lies on the South side of the Ogechee
Opposite then Indian Bluff and was surveyed by Richard Call on the 13th day of 
July AD 1784, said tract 2 miles North of the Mill Seat.
I, Reddy Bowen, Wife of the said Jabiz Bowen relinquish my right as Dower.
