1860, February 22--- This Indenture made between Edmond Brannen unto Thomas 
Nevil, both of Bulloch County, Georgia.  For and in consideration of the sum of 
$1000 dollars, did bargain & sell all that parcel of land on Big Lotts Creek 
containing 495 acres, originally granted  to William Cook.  Said grant dated 
23rd day of June 1805, bounded SW by Big Lotts Creek, SE by J. Martin and E. by 
the Mill Pond and on all other sides by said E. Brannen‘s land..
