Colley of Emanuel County unto Dewitt C. Bacon and William B. Stillwell, partners under the firm name of D.C. Bacon & Co. of Savannah, Georgia. Has sold, conveyed and assigns all the personal property now near Smart Mill in Emanuel County, but soon to be removed to a place in Screven County on the North Bank of the Ogeechee River, about 1 ˝ miles above No. 7 on the Central Rail Road where the said Thomas N. Colley intends to locate a sawmill. For the sum of $800 dollars for the purpose of removing the Mill from Augusta to said place on the Ogeechee River and for erecting & running same for 4 mos., cut 800,000 feet of merchantable pitch pine lumber, such is usually classed “Bill Stuff”.
