J.G. Cone

1898, April 9--- I, George F. Cone, Executor of J.G. Cone by item 3 of the will
of said J.G. Cone deeming it necessary to sell land hereinafter described
belonging to the estate of said deceased for the support and maintenance of my
Mother, Nellie Cone, widow of said deceased for the sum of $400 dollars paid by
D.D. Arden of Effingham County for that parcel of land lying in the 47th
district GM containing 165 acres bounded on the North by Mrs. Mooney Wright, on
the East by E.E. Wood and Co., on the South by R.H. Cone and on the West by
lands formerly belonging to P.C. Richardson, said land known as the J.G. Cone
place.

J.K. Forbes
S.G. Groover, Clerk


Will;
1896, May 17--- I, J.G. Cone of Bulloch County do make my last will and
testament; Item 1st  just debts be paid-Item 2nd bequeath to my beloved wife,
Nellie Cone my entire estate and my unmarried children have an equal
interest-Item 3rd my executor have power to dispose of any or all of said estate
when necessary for the maintenance of said Nellie Cone or single children being
George S. Cone, Mattie Cone, Nellie Cone and my step daughter	Katie
Breckenridge-Item 4th at the death or marriage of my widow and at the marriage
of my single children, it is my will that the same be equally be divided by all
my heirs at law and Katie Breckenridge is to share equally with my own children-
Item 5th I appoint my son, George F. Cone my executor.
