1892, January 11--- This Indenture made between John T. Denmark of Bulloch 
County unto Karl T. Canis.
For and in consideration of the sum of $450 Dollars, hath granted and sold the 
certain premises or parcel of Real Estate described  as follows, to-wit; A 
certain parcel of land lying in the 1340th District GM and described in a plat 
made November 30, 1891, H.J. Proctor Surveyor as follows;  Beginning at the 
high water mark of J.C. DeLoach Mill Pond  where the lands of G.W. DeLoach and 
these adjoin; thence South 28 West 66 chains; thence North 64 West 4 chains to 
Cross Bay; thence along said bay to lands of Charles Preetorious; thence South 
71 East 24 ¼ chains; thence North 58 East 18 ½ chains; thence South 62 East 9 ¾ 
chains  to lands of J.W. Donaldson; thence North 4 east 10 ½ chains; thence 
North 12 East 6 ¾ chains to Rattan Branch; thence along said branch to the high 
water mark of J.G. DeLoach Mill Pond; thence along said high water mark to the 
beginning point and containing 222 acres in one body.
