Witnesseth that the said Aaron Everitt for and in the consideration of the sum of five hundred and seventy five dollars to him in hand paid at and before the sealing and delivering of these presents by ?? B. Thos [Thomas] Mills. The receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, have granted, bargained,and sold and by these presents do grant, bargain and sell unto the aid Thomas Mills all those tracts or parcels of land situate, lying and being in the county of Bulloch and state aforesaid on both sides of Spring Creek in Six tracts or surveys. Naimly three granted to John Hagin, two to Elexandria Stewart and one to Joseph Cone ? together with a claim held by David Lee for fifty acres more or less. The whole containing twenty five hundred and fifty acres [2,550] conveyed by Josiah Everitt to John Everitt except ? claim that conveyed to said John Everitt by [Matthew] Ma ? Hagin and all conveyed by the executors of the estate of John Everitt to said Aaron Everitt. To have and to hold the said tracts or parcels of land with all and singular the houses, out houses, buildings, and improvements whatsoever to the same belonging and to him the said Thomas Mills his heirs and assigns do forever warrant and defend the title thereof from the claims of heirs that said A. Everitt and all other persons claiming or to claim the same. In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the day and year above written. Other siblings were Joshua B: 27 Sep 1774, Enoch B: 6 Jul 1779, Jehu Winott B: 15 Oct 1780, John Fagan B: 15 May 1784, Hannah B: 1782. Parents were John B: 16 Mar 1742/43 & Sarah Fagan B: 1746. Aaron Fairfax Everitt son of John Everitt & I believe Grandson of Josiah Everitt B 1787 Effingham Co. Ga M 1811 Mary Slater [Mary signature was Aaron's wife] 1824 Sold his land (The Deed!) 1825 Moved to Thomas Co. Ga where the information which I have says he laid out the city of Thomasville.
