1834, November 1--- This Indenture made between Nathaniel Hodges unto Joshua 
Hodges, Sheppard Williams, Ely Kennedy, John Dell, Joseph Hodges and Benjamin 
Hodges Trustees in Trust for and in consideration of $24.30 dollars, conveyed 
100 acres, that they shall cause to be erected, a house or place of worship for 
the use of members of the Methodist Episcopal Church in the United States of 
America.
