1819, October 12--- Know ye that I the said Berry Jones, Planter, for and in 
consideration of the love, goodwill and affection which I have and do have 
towards the Lower Lotts Creek Church, I the said Berry Jones have granted unto 
the said Church, 6 acres of land lying on the East side of Lotts Creek, where 
the old meeting house formerly stood and the graveyard about  30 feet on the 
boundary.
