For my 2 Sons, Edmond H. and Tilton H. Kennedy who are the youngest children of the said Elizabeth Kennedy. Wittnesseth: That for and in consideration of the love and affection which I have and bear to my beloved Wife, Elizabeth Kennedy and to my sons Edmond H. Kennedy and Tilton H. Kennedy, I do grant and convey that parcel of land lying in Bulloch County in the 45th G.M. District thereof, bounded on the North by Remer Franklin, on the East by Ten Mile Creek and on the South & West by said Ten Mile Creek and by lands this day deeded to Seaborn Kennedy, Perry Kennedy, William L. Kennedy, Melvin Kennedy and Sallie E. Kennedy containing 280 acres and known at the time as the homestead of Jimerson Kennedy. For and in consideration of the love and affection which I have for my 4 Sons and my Daughter and in consideration of $1439 dollars, doth by these presents , grant, convey and confirm all that tract being in the 45th Georgia Militia District thereof bounded on the North by Remer Franklin, John C. Brewton (lately purchased by J.L. Caruthers) James E. Brown and the Everett lands, on the East by 280 acres this day granted & sold to Elizabeth Kennedy, the Wife of the said Jimerson Kennedy and the Ten Mile Creek, South by Ten Mile and The Canoochee River and on the West by the Canoochee River, containing 2410 acres.
