1841, January 7--- This Indenture made between Benjamin Lanier unto John 
Kirkland, both parties of Bulloch County.  For and in consideration of the sum 
of $465 dollars, hath sold & assigned  all that parcel of land containing 2700 
acres lying on the Waters of Lotts Creek.
