1888, October 27 --- This Indenture made between Stephen Richardson unto James 
Thorne, both of Bulloch County.  Witnesseth that the said Stephen Richardson 
for and in consideration of the sum of $1000 dollars hath sold and conveyed all 
that tract of land situate, lying and being in the 47th GM District and bounded 
as follows to wit; one piece of land known as the Mill Tract (and a good mill 
on it) on the North by J.G. Smith, on the East by Mrs. Rachael Richardson and 
South also by Mrs. Rachael Richardson, on the West by O.S. Richardson, 
containing 100 acres.  Also one other piece known as the place where I now live 
and bounded on the North by John M. Warnock and Iron Monger [Creek], on the 
West by John M. Lee and on the South by W.J. Strickland and on the West by 
James A. Warnock and W.J. Strickland, containing 288 acres.
