 Scarboro-Turpentine Lease

1887, October 24---Know all men that we J.A. Scarboro and Jason Scarboro of 
Bulloch County have this day leased or rented to R.M. and R.H. Kimball, 
copartners, the firm name of R.M. Kimball & Co. of Emanuel County, all the pine 
timber on a certain parcel of land for turpentine purposes for 2 years, with 
the privilege of the same for the 3rd year, said parcel containing 267 acres 
and bounded on the North by L.A. Scarboro, East by Foy & Co., South by Lotts 
Creek, West by A. Scarborough and said R.H. Kimball & Co. agrees to pay 1cent 
per box for all the boxes cut the 1st year and ½ cent per box the 2nd year.
