Scarboro and John G. Mitchell, both of Bulloch County doing a general saw-mill business under the firm name of Scarboro & Mitchell from Mrs. S.A. Groover of Bulloch County, for and in consideration of the sum of $112.50 dollars hath this day bargained, sold and conveyed to the parties of the 1st part and assigns all that part of the Wilson Place and bounded as follows. Beginning at a point on the right of way of the Dover & Statesboro Railroad trestle over the Ogeechee River, 100 feet from the beginning of said trestle on the South end and running thence at right angles with said railroad West 3 acres , thence South in a direct parallel with railroad 5 acres, thence East in a direct line back to the railroad, thence North along the Western boundary of the said Dover & Statesboro Railroad to the beginning. Also the right to cut a canal 30 feet wide from any point along the boundary line North of the above described property herein conveyed to any point along the channel of the Ogeechee River.
