1837, November 5--- This Indenture made between John Simmons of Bulloch County 
unto James Scarborough of Emanuel County, for and in consideration of the sum 
of $600 dollars, conveyed all these tracts on the Waters of Lotts Creek, 1) 100 
acres originally granted to John Bennett, dated May 11, 1821   2) 150 acres on 
the said creek, including one Grist & Saw Mill, being part of 500 acres 
originally granted to Edmond Matthews.
