Slaton’s Saw Mill

1896, January 30 --- Mortgage Deed
Know all men by these presents that in order to better secure the payment of 4 
notes made by me this day and delivered to J.A. Scarboro, I have promised to 
pay said J.A. Scarboro, each note for $93.25 dollars.  I have this day granted 
unto said J.A. Scarboro one (1) No. 2 DeLoach sawmill, this sawmill being 
located near Clito, known as Salton’s Mill .  I also hereby waiver and renounce 
all right to Homestead Exception in the property.
