1899, February 1--- This Indenture made between B.T. Outland, B.E. Turner, E.S.
Smith, D.B. Turner, 
J.A. Fulcher, M.M. Holland, E.D. Holland, C.W. Ennis and G.S. Johnston, Trustees
of the Methodist Episcopal Church, South of Statesboro unto M.M. Holland, all of
Bulloch County, for and in consideration of the sum of $75 dollars, hath
granted, sold and conveyed all the following described property within the town
of Statesboro beginning at the Northwest corner of Pine and Church Streets,
North 108 feet along Pine St. to M.M. Holland, thence along the lands of M.M.
Holland, a distance of 108 feet to Church St., thence West along Church St. 108
feet to the starting point, it being the vacant lot lying just North of the old
site of the Methodist Church, near ¼ of an acre.
