1816, October 24--- This Indenture made between Samuel Williams Sr. unto 
William Brannen Sr., Solomon Brannen, Alexander Brannen and  William Branner 
Jr. all of Bulloch County.  For and in consideration of the sum of $7650 
dollars, doth grant, bargain and sell unto the said Brannens, all that tract of 
100 acres on the Mill Branch, lying below the road, also 50 acres lying on the 
Public Road leading from Savannah to Milledgeville, which is known by the name 
of the mill seat with the mill.
